Marjorie Colwill, mother and artist

My mother was born in 1918 and is still going strong. As predicted by the Guerrilla Girls, her interest in art was not discovered until her family was well and truly off her hands (like mother, like daughter). She started painting late in life, but discovered a passion for art that still lives with her today. My portrait shows her at the easel, a familiar sight for many years. The gallery below shows some of the paintings she has done since her 100th birthday. More pictures of her art will be added soon.
